The curtain division is also supported by our Design and CAD departments. To meet the specific size, shape and design of curtains requested by our various customers we can conduct surveys and produce drawings to enable production of curtains to suit dedicated areas within the cabin.

The development and manufacture of our range of steam pleated curtains has evolved from a simple, single faced galley curtain intended to enhance the cabin décor through to a complex triple layer pleated curtain used to reduce light and sound penetration in the cabin.

The curtains are steam pleated to give a crisp pleat edge without the need for stitching to retain the pleat. We can adapt our manufacturing to meet the ever-changing requirements of the market place.

We produce class divider curtains ranging from simple aisle and over seat dividers to curtains which are made to fit class divider units. Double-sided curtains are also produced so that both sides of the curtain have a decorative face.

To provide a quality curtain with permanent steam pleating, it is recommended that a Trevira yarn be used. Trevira is inherently flame retardant and will retain this flame resistance for the life of the curtain. For servicing it is both washable and dry cleanable.

The majority of Airline Services’ curtains are supplied with our unique hook and slider system and tie-backs, although we can provide stud/snap fixings where required.
