Airline Services specialises in the provision of laundry and dry-cleaning services exclusively to the aviation industry and is delighted to count more than thirty domestic and international carriers among its customers.

To date we remain the only company in the UK with a national network of “on airport” laundry and dry cleaning facilities. This unique approach sets us aside from our competitors and offers considerable advantages over the generic, centralised operation of many launderers:

• The fundamental loss risks involved in transporting items off-airport are non-existent in our operation.
• Our on-airport facilities are manned 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, thus we are able to offer an immediate response whenever required.
• Because we operate exclusively for the aviation industry and, in many cases are also responsible for dressing our customers’ cabins, we understand our customers’ end product and the necessity for timely delivery and service levels that a non-specialist operator cannot.
• We are accredited to provide the mandatory flammability testing associated with routine dry-cleaning provision, in accordance with CAA and FAA regulations.

We operate the most modern equipment and our facilities are staffed by trained and extremely experienced personnel, all of whom have been working in the aviation sector for many years and who have an acute understanding of its particular demands.

Every laundry and dry-cleaning facility is supported by our central planning and reporting unit, known as the Central Control Department. It is from here that up to the minute and accurate stock reporting data is collated and presented to our customers, in exactly the format and to the frequency that it is required.

Finally, it is worth considering that, because every one of our operations works to the same procedures and no base is more than eighty miles from its nearest neighbour, our network of laundry and dry-cleaning facilities also offers our customers inbuilt contingency planning.
