On-Wing IFE Support

Airline Services offers a comprehensive on-wing support package to its customers with a dedicated team of highly experienced, IFE engineers capable of supporting all major IFE systems.

Airline Services' IFE On-Wing Support program is targeted specifically at ensuring that the maximum number of IFE seat positions are available in service and with full functionality at all times thereby maixmising the revenue for the airline and helping to ensure that the passenger experience is delivered to the operator's requirements.

System performance is monitored and tracked on a per a/c and per individual seat basis. A preventive approach has been adopted which improves reliability and reduces spare parts costs by

1. wherever possible fixing LRU’s on-wing before they fail completely and
2. expediting units through the repair process quickly and efficiently to reduce the overall spares holding and identify any shortages earlier.

With its main base at London-Heathrow the service is available to airlines there and around the world.

IFE Equipment Repair Services

Airline Services has in-house capability to repair a large number of IFE equipment part numbers including PCU's, PSU's, SEBs, Headsets and Screens.

Repair activities are carried out at our facilities close to Manchester Airport.  In addition, Airline Services can manage the repair process on behalf of the operator for items outside of its capability as part of a complete IFE support program.
